PROMETA TREATMENT PROGRAM FOR METHAMPHETAMINE (CRYSTAL METH)

Canterbury is now offering the Prometa Treatment Program; an innovative treatment for crystal meth / methamphetamines addiction.  The Prometa Treatment Program is an entirely different approach to treating substance dependence as it integrates cutting edge medical treatment with nutritional support and psychosocial counseling – all on an outpatient basis.

The program is designed to help relieve cravings and anxiety, restore nutritional balance and improve mental clarity so you can focus on your recovery.

The Program Consists of:
An initial assessment which includes a  comprehensive medical    examination and psychosocial evaluation as well as a blood and    urine analyses.
Three consecutive daily visits of approximately 2 hours each whereby    the individual receives, under medical supervision, prescription    medications delivered both intravenously and orally using a    proprietary dosing algorithm
A second 2-day procedure approximately 3 weeks later
A one month course of non-addictive take-home medications and    customized nutritional supplements that are formularized based on your physical and blood test results
A comprehensive psychosocial treatment plan which includes    counseling during the recovery process


CONTINUING CARE FOR METHAMPHETAMINE

Dependence is a complex disease and the best outcomes are believed to derive from a combination of pharmacological treatment and Continuing Care. The Canterbury Institute offers individualized referrals through our relationships with behavioral clinicians in order to ensure that our patients have access to the best and most appropriate Continuing Care programs.

Canterbury Institute is a private pay facility. We will supply you with appropriate bills for treatments rendered that you may submit to your insurance carrier. Insurance policies and benefits vary widely, and we will assist you in obtaining information on your policy concerning your individual benefits and coverage. While we will make every effort to provide the information you will need to obtain reimbursement for the services covered by your policy, we cannot guarantee coverage or timeliness of reimbursement.

We accept all major credit cards as well as personal and cashiers checks. Financing is available through third party as well as through Canterbury Finance, LLC upon meeting proper criteria.
