Methamphetamine is a powerfully addictive stimulant that dramatically affects the central nervous system. The drug has been manufactured in clandestine laboratories using relatively inexpensive over-the-counter materials which accounts for its cheap cost and widespread use. It is a white(or sometimes light brown) odorless bitter-tasting powder that can be inhaled, smoked, or when dissolved in alcohol or water, injected.

Physical Symptoms:
Increased activity
Decreased appetite
General sense of well-being
Lower sexual inhibitions
Psychotic violent behavior
Hallucinations
High agitation
The “rush ”is immediate, and the “high” can last from 6 to 8 hours. Methamphetamine is highly addictive. There is currently only one known effective treatment for methamphetamine dependence. and that is PROMETA.
